As another year draws to a close, we at NXLog are ready for one of the season’s traditions: reflecting on the year that was. For NXLog, 2024 marked two significant milestones: celebrating 12 years of the Company’s journey and unveiling its most ambitious product to date: NXLog Platform.
NXLog Platform launch
We couldn’t start a 2024 review in any other way. The launch of NXLog Platform was the culmination of a long process of envisioning, planning, and developing what we believe is a quantum leap in our log collection management solution.
We set out to build an efficient, cloud-ready, and scalable centralized log management system, that is intuitive to use. With a streamlined user interface, powerful search capabilities, and customizable dashboards, NXLog Platform provides impactful analytics that empower you to monitor your whole infrastructure.

Automatic agent enrollment
Streamlining and automating recurring management processes is one of NXLog Platform’s core objectives. A prime example of this is automatic agent enrollment, which simplifies the often-repetitive task of registering agents, especially when deploying large fleets.
NXLog Platform enables efficient bulk agent deployment by leveraging this feature. With automatic agent enrollment, you can focus on installing and configuring agents across your infrastructure, knowing they will be seamlessly added to NXLog Platform.
Configuration builder
Another of our main themes in NXLog Platform is making management tasks as intuitive as possible. A huge step in that direction is the inclusion of an agent configuration builder.
The builder provides access to the full range of features offered by the NXLog language and modules through an easy-to-use visual interface with syntax validation.
This centralized configuration tool allows you to create, edit, and distribute configurations throughout your log collection environment. Updates can be effortlessly propagated to all connected agents, making configuration management more efficient.
Solution packs
Building on the capabilities of the configuration builder, NXLog Platform also includes an expanding library of solution packs.
Solution packs are pre-configured, end-to-end templates designed to collect, transform, and forward logs to your SIEM with minimal setup effort. Using a solution pack greatly reduces the time and effort required to set up your log collection pipeline to your SIEM.

Support for OpenTelemetry
Throughout 2024, we continued to expand our coverage of popular log data sources and destinations. Among the highlights was our addition of support for OpenTelemetry (OTel), an open-source observability framework that provides APIs and tools for collecting and exporting telemetry data such as traces, metrics, and logs. With this enhancement, NXLog successfully passed all validation checks and was added to the official OpenTelemetry vendors registry.
Customers and customer success
2024 was another year of growth for NXLog, with over a hundred new clients and close to 90 new partnerships. If you’re part of this group - or the many others that joined us in previous years - we again thank you for your continued trust in NXLog. Our vision for NXLog Platform and its evolution would not be possible without your input.

Content highlights
Beyond our major milestones, 2024 was also a year of sharing valuable and engaging resources with our community. We expanded our video library with practical tutorials and published technical guides such as an example workflow for streamlining log ingestion and tips for building scalable and efficient telemetry pipelines.
We showcased two compelling success stories that demonstrate how NXLog helped organizations. The QNB Finansbank case study highlights how NXLog enabled autonomous and efficient security log collection for one of Turkey’s leading financial institutions. Another case study, demonstrates NXLog’s ability to improve log management and bolster security infrastructure for one of the largest U.S. banks.
Finally, if you’re looking for some light reading for the holiday season, our blog covered a variety of unexpected topics. Consider an unusual look at how NXLog operates in extreme environments or how event logging has evolved over the years, from clay tablets to Taylor Swift’s world tour.
