2025 and NXLog - a recap

ALL ANNOUNCEMENT COMPARISON COMPLIANCE DEPLOYMENT SECURITY SIEM STRATEGY RSS

As the new year looms large, we at NXLog are ready for one of the season’s most cherished traditions: reflecting on the year that ends. Coming off a 2024 that was centered on the NXLog Platform release, our 2025 was built on our analysis of the current state of the telemetry landscape.

The main conclusion is that while telemetry data is essential for operations and security, 35% of organizations still struggle to collect it at scale. This creates blind spots in compliance, operational, and security risks, a danger recognized by 60% of respondents. These gaps make troubleshooting slower, increase security risk, and raise the cost of keeping systems reliable. Traditional log collection is now outdated, costly, and increasingly ineffective, while skyrocketing data volumes further strain budgets and highlight the need to adopt modern telemetry pipelines.

50% of the respondents understand that unified and secure telemetry pipelines - with smarter pricing and noise reduction — can drastically reduce costs and improve performance. Yet, in 2025, many organizations still struggle to build robust pipelines with legacy tools, facing fragmentation, complexity, and inconsistent security across the data lifecycle.

With this backdrop, our work on NXLog Platform in 2025 focused on simplicity, performance, and visibility throughout the whole telemetry pipeline. We had big ideas, bigger plans, and looking back, we achieved some impressive milestones.

NXLog Platform improvements

Here are some of the main highlights of our year.

Log search redefined for speed and usability

The log search user experience received major improvements in usability and performance.

Streamlined agent management

NXLog Platform gained new features that further support agent fleet monitoring and management, such as custom agent names to match how your team already works and centralized TLS certificate management.

Flow visualization

Log flow lets you visualize in real-time how data flows through your pipeline, for immediate insights and troubleshooting.

Intuitive configuration editor

We redesigned the configuration editor to make writing, editing, and sharing configurations more straightforward.

Faster and smarter navigation

Time is of the essence in today’s world, and NXLog Platform keeps getting faster and simpler to use. Users can now authenticate using popular single sign-on solutions such as Microsoft Azure, GitLab, and Google. We overhauled the NXLog Platform UI with a cleaner structure, making it easier to find what you need.

NXLog Platform’s agent evolution

NXLog Platform’s agent is now able to efficiently handle more than 50 data sources and 30 data destinations. This includes expanded access to popular sources (such as Osquery and Okta) and data destinations (such as Prometheus and OpenTelemetry). Also, you can now collect agent internal metrics, simplifying data flow and agent health monitoring.

This evolution is also noticeable in the increase of supported platforms, keeping up with the most recent versions of all operating systems.

Customers and customer success

2025 was another year of growth for NXLog, with close to 50 new partnerships and 54 new clients including keystone companies in their industries such as Jaguar Land Rover, eBay, Coca-Cola Bottling Company United, BBVA Mexico, and SAS Institute.

If you’re part of this group - or the many others that joined us in previous years - we again thank you for your continued trust in NXLog. Our vision for NXLog Platform and its evolution would not be possible without your input.

If you haven’t joined us yet, we hope 2026 is the year we start working together.

Season greetings from NXLog

Content highlights

We must start with our case studies, an essential tool to learn from our clients and reflect on completed projects. These case studies demonstrate the trust our clients place in NXLog, and the impact it delivers, and their willingness to put the results front and center. See the details on how we helped the following clients:

  • New York City Cyber Command strengthened its resilience and efficiency by unifying real-time log collection with NXLog Platform. This enhanced visibility, accelerated incident response, and supported compliance in a complex and critical IT environment.

  • A major U.S. government agency overcame soaring SIEM costs and performance bottlenecks with NXLog to reliably collect logs across diverse environments, ensuring efficient monitoring and improved visibility.

  • The Largest U.S. restaurant group modernized its cybersecurity telemetry by deploying the NXLog Platform to unify, normalize, and securely forward logs from 20,000 diverse endpoints to its SIEM for enhanced security analysis and compliance.

  • A worldwide oil and gas operator strengthened visibility, met strict regulatory and security standards, and accelerated threat detection with NXLog Platform.

We conducted several NXLog webinars including:

  • An introduction to how NXLog Platform enhances observability, streamlines data management, and improves system monitoring and reliability.

  • A deep dive into how transforming logs into actionable metrics — and vice versa — can break down data silos, uncover deeper insights, and drive faster, more informed decisions.

  • A reflection on how resellers and partners can unlock revenue opportunities by helping clients solve real-world log and telemetry challenges, reduce costs, and grow their business with practical insights and proven strategies.

Finally, you might want to close the year looking back through our blog, which offered a variety of topics this year. You can start with a deep dive into the current challenges of log and telemetry data management and how to choose a log management solution. We also discussed best practices to get the most performance out of that solution and the very crucial need to monitor your own monitoring system.

2026 is just around the corner

As proud as we are of all we achieved in 2025, we’re already looking ahead to an exciting 2026.

The telemetry pipeline industry continues to face evolving challenges and responsibilities, and NXLog is committed to leading the way with innovative solutions. You can expect more exciting product announcements and advancements from us in the coming year.

From all of us at NXLog, we wish you a joyful holiday season and look forward to working together in an outstanding 2026.
