135. System Requirements
In order to function efficiently, NXLog Manager requires a certain amount of available system resources on the host system. The table below provides general guidelines to use when planning an NXLog Manager installation. Actual system requirements will vary based on the number of agents to be managed; therefore, both minimum and recommended requirements are listed. Always thoroughly test a deployment to verify that the desired performance can be achieved with the system resources available.
Minimum | Recommended | |

Memory/RAM |
2048 MB |
4096 MB |

1024 MB |
Note
|
The NXLog Manager memory/RAM requirement increases by 2 MB for each managed agent. For example, if an NXLog Manager instance monitors 100 agents, the recommended memory/RAM requirement is 4296 MB. These requirements are in addition to the operating system’s requirements, and the requirements should be combined cumulatively with the NXLog Enterprise Edition’s System Requirements for systems running both NXLog Enterprise Edition and NXLog Manager. |
