What conditions will cause Nxlog to reread the saved position? Is it only on start ups, can tcp forwarding timeouts cause it? Is it on any ERROR?

What conditions will cause Nxlog to reread the saved position? Is it only on start ups, can tcp forwarding timeouts cause it? Is it on any ERROR?
It is read on startup from configcache.dat.
NXLog does not need to reread it while it is running because the file is not written by other processes and that information is kept in memory while it runs.
